When Aishwarya and Abhishek had a huge fight
Well, the things are not always the same as they look like. This is how the B-town trend has been growing since its puberty.
Take for example the Bollywood couples who flaunt their giggling happiness in front of the media, quarrel and fight while those clicking flashes get away. I know you must be ready to give example of the recently hot couple Abhi-Ash.
Even I would be happiest with their example. But, you see, it’s Bollywood and no one can compare between matters of parde ke aage and parde ke pichhe.
You must be thinking of it as some kind of gag but I am in no mood to do so. Even you will get serious knowing about the matter.
Actually, there’s news that this beautiful couple who had gone to attend IIFA awards function, created a hell lot of a drama in the lobby of a hotel.
It’s been heard that Jr. Bachchan wasn’t happy about Ash getting a little loud while they attended the award function and wanted her keep a low profile. But Ash ignored him and continued to be her real self.
This gradually got into Abhi’s mind and by the time they reached their hotel the things got out of control and they had an open discussion regarding the problem. Later, it’s said that Abhishek asked his personal security guards to escort Ash to their room.
Hoops! No one should have ever expected things like that from a nice and understanding couple like theirs; especially when Big B always is found escorting and guiding his favourite bahu.
Should we think a little further about the Abhi-Ash future? Will Abhi again shout at Ash? Well, you still look doubtful! But you must understand that Abhi-Ash always look greener on the other side of the camera.
Saif Leads Ads Duration Race On TV
According to a survey, actor Saif Ali Khan is the king when it comes to appearance of the ads on TV. The survey shows that Saif’s ads appeared for about 45 lakh of seconds on TV in 2007 closely followed by SRK whose ads did for about 42 lakh of seconds. The list also contains big names like Big B on 3rd and Hrithik Roshan on 4th and many more. But only two cricketers could make it in the list including M.S. Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar.
If Aishwarya can do item numbers why can’t I: Neetu Chandra
When I meet Neetu Chandra in sweltering and scorching heat on location in Bhopal where she is shooting for director Gary Grewal’s maiden venture as a director- Khusar Prasad Ka Bhoot in which she has been teamed opposite Randeep Hooda, she is excited about her role in the film.
“I play the role of Chabeeli, a woman of loose character in Khusar Prasad Ka Bhoot. What is interesting is the fact that I am the only girl in the entire film.
Chabili is liked by all the characters in the film. Everyone in the film tries all the time to hit on me. Thanks to the script, I am now having the opportunity to do a performance oriented role in Khusar Prasad Ka Bhoot.
It is my fourth film with Paresh Rawal, with whom I had acted in my very first film Garam Masala”, exclaims an excited Neetu.
Neetu is of the opinion that her role as Chabili in Khusar Prasad Ka Bhoot is quite different from her earlier roles till date.
“It is a big transition for me as an actress if you just compare my role in Khusar Prasad Ka Bhoot with my earlier characters in earlier films.
It is totally opposite to the character I did in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic signal or for that matter the character of the Haryanvi lady cop that I played in Ashwani Dheer’s One Two Three.
The best thing about my character in this film is that mostly I have got to deliver my dialogues on the louder side through my eyes”, explains Neetu.
Neetu says that she preferred to be launched as one of the three girls in Garam Masala instead of waiting for a big break as a solo heroine.
“I am from a film background. Priyan Sir chose to give me a break with a big banner, ” goes on the charming lady, “If I had done a solo lead, I do not think anyone would have come to watch me in the film.
In Garam Masala, I had two big leading men like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham to lure the audiences to the theaters.
I preferred to have a safe launch like Garam Masala after having appeared as a super model in several ads including Parker, Minto, and Reliance etc. Priyan Sir had directed the Parker ad in which I had the privilege to appear alongside with Amitabh Bachchan”.
Neetu asserts that her glamorous post Garam Masala image almost affected her prospects in films.
She further adds, “Though I had acted in a serious role in the play Aao Saathi Sapna Dekhe directed by Swanand Kirkire who had composed the music for Parineeta, I started getting roles which needed me to appear in a bikini after Garam Masala since I had projected a glamorous image in the film.
In fact the image with which I was saddled after Garam Masala actually almost affected my career prospects since there were people who even tried to scare Madhur by telling him that it was wrong on his part to cast a girl like me in a deglamorised role in his film Traffic Signal”.
After having played a glamorous role in Priyadarshan’s Garam Masala, Neetu is glad that she played a deglamorised role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Traffic Signal, though several so called well wishers of hers advised her that it was a suicidal move on the part of a newcomer like her to take up an arty role like that.
Adds Neetu, “I am glad I received accolades for my performance in Traffic Signal. I am now acting in Rahul Dholakia’s Mumbai Cutting, believe it or not, in yet another path breaking as well as deglamorised role as a housemaid, with an entirely different dimension”.
Neetu admits that it was tough to play a housemaid in Mumbai Cutting.
“It is for the first time that I have played the role of a housemaid in Mumbai Cutting. I have not touched make up at all throughout the film. There are two brilliant actors from the theater in the film, but they have not been cast opposite me.
Even in Traffic Signal, I had to apply a tanned make up whereas in Mumbai Cutting I shunned make up to get into the skin of the character”, Neetu explains her serious approach towards her characters.
Neetu is now acting in a Tamil film called Yaavarum Nalam as R. Madhavan’s wife. The actress asserts, “It is a horror thriller film backed by Reliance Adlabs and directed by Vikram from the South.
It is being made in two languages – Hindi and Tamil. The Hindi version has been titled ‘Flat No 13 B’. Poonam Dhillon plays my mother in law in the film”.
Neetu is playing the role of a college student in Dibankar Bannnerjee’s Oye Lucky Lucky Oye opposite Abhay Deol.
“It is an out and out commercial movie from the stable of Dibankar who had made his debut with a brilliant film like Khosla Ka Ghosla. I play Abhay’s love interest in the film. I play a second year college girl.
It is Abhay’s story but I play an important role since I change him in the film which was shot in Manali. Paresh Rawal is also playing a very important role in the film, ” the lady adds on offers being showered on her.
Neetu, who is happy that she has proved to be a good survivor in this industry considering the fact that she has made it here without the help of any God father and does not have any filmy connections to work for her, is game to do item numbers, too.
“I am game to do item numbers today. Why not? Today I feel that item numbers are great because not every one can do it with finesse. Raakhee Sawant, Mallika Sherawat and Aishwarya Rai would not have been able to deliver their item numbers if they did not know dancing.
Today there are instances where films which remain unsold are snapped up by distributors if an item number is added to them”, Neetu clears up the matter. Neetu asserts that she is not at all insecure considering there is stiff competition in the film industry, because she has confidence in her mettle as an actor.
“I am basically a sports person and have the killing instinct because of that. The role that I did in One Two Three was offered to different actresses including Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy.
Since I do not want to limit myself, I grabbed the role though I felt that it was a stupid role. My gamble paid off when the critics showered their praises on me for my performance in the film”, sums up Neetu.
Will Aishwarya play a sex worker?
According to a source plans are afoot to bring Ash and the ethereal Meryl Streep together in an American production of Chaos.
Says a source, “They ran the concept with Meryl and Ash and they were game .They need to Americanize the theme because Chaos was a very French movie. But yes, in principle Ash is on for this film.”
Another international project that Aishwarya has given the nod to is Roland Joffe’s Singularity with Brendan Fraser.
Speaking on Singularity Ash says, “I’ve asked them for the final draft of the script. Now the time factor has to be worked out. The time they want is devoted to Mani Sir (Ratnam)’s project.
New dates have to be worked out. There’re so many projects that I want to do but because of the dates or a delay I can’t. There’re only that number of assignments I can take on. I’ve never done more work that I can do. I never can.”
In the meanwhile Aishwarya gets ready to shoot for Shankar’s Robot and Mani Ratnam’s film with Abhishek.
Informs the actress, “There has been a little delay in Shankar’s Robot because of his writer Sujata’s death. That has delayed Robot a bit. All kinds of rumours have been floated about the project.
The dates situation does get tighter for me because I was supposed to shoot Robot now and Mani Sir’s film a little later during the year. We just have to work under a tighter schedule now.”
Big B caught red handed in a lie, pees in his pants
While it is true that IPL is sucking most of the oxygen out of the market right now, the TRP rating fiasco has nothing to do with that. Big B simply lied.
Just to clarify. TRP is not an absolute measure like for example one inch or one cm is. It is therefore not universal nor portable. The measure is limited to the boundaries of its market and to the time period for which the calculation has been performed. In short, TRP ratings is a complicated dynamic calculation. It is valid ONLY for the market for which it was been calculated for. Also it is valid ONLY for the time period for which it has been calculated for. Overtime as the number of channels within a market changes and as the overall TV viewership changes, so does the implication of these ratings. Hence a score of 1 today is not the same as a score of 1 yesterday. Therefore we cannot use ratings from 3 years ago to compare ratings with shows running today.
Even after knowing the above, Big B wrongfully used TRP ratings to lie and to make it appear that his KBC had more viewership. Just so that you understand this, let me repeat, SRK’s KBC had more viewers than Big B’s KBC yet had a lower TRP (because over 3 + years all the factors had changed).
When Big B was caught, he responded by peeing in his pants
See below.

I may not be Ash but I’ve honor too
The enire Endemol-Celina Jaitley row has now taken an ugly turn. We hear that the former Miss India is fuming over Pooja Bedi’s remarks in which the latter defended Endemol employee’s Anand Chavan.
“I have admired Pooja Bedi since I was in Standard 1. I don’t know why Pooja should have spoken on this, when she is no way involved with Fear Factor. Anyway, let her have her fifteen seconds of fame,” remarks Celina.
The actress has also sent a legal notice to Endemol saying that she has enough material to prove that the theirl employee was indeed stalking her.
Talking to a leading tabloid Celina tells, “Anand Chavan, has been constantly harassing me to do the show. He sent me flowers and champagne bottles. Also, he sent me several text messages. He even messaged me saying that he is interested in working with me as my ‘business manager’.”
“I am being mentally harassed. My name has been used to sell a product without my consent. I may not be Ash or Kareena but I am Celina Jaitley, nothing less or more. I have the right to defend my name.
In my notice, I have also demanded that hereafter no employee of Endemol will call and harass me. Endemol is a fine company, but it needs to keep its employees in check,” she adds.
Now this is Two much Aishwarya!!!

That apparently is not acceptable to Ash who cannot afford to give so much of time to a project. There are also news doing rounds about Deepika Padukone’s inclusion into this sci-fi Rajni starrer. Shankar and Rajnikant are very fond of Ash, who made her acting debut in Shankar’s film ‘Jeans’. Since then, the director has approached Ash for every single film he has made except ‘Boys’, but every time Ash has turned him down for one reason or another. It remains to be seen if she has turned him down again for ‘Robot’. We hear, the actress has already asked Rohan Sippy to start his film Happy Birthday which stars John Abraham besides her due to delays in Robot. However some insiders maintain that Robot is getting delayed due to security reasons and not Aishwarya refusal. The major hurdle in rolling the project, which will be shot at different locales in India and overseas, is that the areas have to be scanned from the security point of view. Both Rajnikanth and Ash come under a high protection security network. Post wedding, Ash’s security has beenoverhauled. All her shoot locales are now thoroughly scanned by the producers and rest of the crew. Reportedly, Aishwarya was promised Rs 4 crore for Robot which is slated to be a bilingual venture – both in Hindi and Tamil. |
‘Topless’ pictures upset Aishwarya!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is pretty miffed these days as her allegedly topless picture had been flashed across various TV channels, few days back.
Rumour has it that these pictures were taken at a time when Ash was beginning her career in ad and and modelling industry during the mid 90’s where she reportedly posed for a magazine along with four, five models.
The names of the models in the magazine go as Milind Soman , Madhu Sapre , Ruchi Malhotra, Aishwarya Rai, Anu Verma, Coleen Khan. Atul Karleskar had reportedly shot the picture and Micky Contractor had done the make-up.
Abhishek Bachchan is apparantly upset over these ‘topless’ pictures and is keen to take drastic step and having a talk with his lawyers regarding this defamatory issue.
Ash has also taken the matter very seriously and released a statement saying that the pictures are fabricated and that she was never involved.
“She would never do something like that. You know the actress you are talking about.
No matter at which time in her profession they say these pictures were taken we can guarantee you that they are just the work some of some publicity hungry individual,” says Ash’s manager, “She has made it clear that she will take action against anyone who publishes them on the assumption that they are hers. And so will her close ones.”
He also adds that this new rumour hasn’t gone done well with the actress or the rest of her family.
The picture reportedly shows Ash in a pair of tiny denim shorts with her back to the camera with other models as well some other ones that are much more bold.
Just when we thought Shankar’s Robot was all set to go on floors came a bad news that Ash might eventually pull out of the ambitious project given the director’s plans to shoot the film over a period of two years.
