Celina Jaitley ‘harassed’ again!

Celina Jaitley, best known for her bimbette roles and sex bomb image, has slapped a legal notice on production house ‘Endemol India’.

The Bollywood Bomb, who travelled to the silver screen from the ramp, is one of the beauty queens thrown up to the international circuit by Femina some years back. From there, she jumped onto the Bollywood bandwagon with Feroz Khan’s Jaanasheen, posing opposite to his own son, Fardeen Khan.

Celina had an issue with the “constant harassment” caused by Endemol for joining the reality show ‘Fear Factor’.

Although Celina had declined their offer, her media consultant claims that Mr Anand Chavan from Endemol India had been sending “not-so-good SMSes” to Celina and also been calling her repeatedly at unacceptable times.

She is reported to have claimed that he had also gone to the extent of stating that he wanted to be her Manager.

Celina took this particular step after constantly being harassed by him, her spokesman has claimed, who has added that “it has been observed that they are trying to capitalise on her fame”.

“I have no problems with Endemol as a company, but it is the people who represent the company who should know that they are the face of the company and they should behave appropriately”, Celina has been quoted as having said.

After reading about Celina’s accusations against Anand, Pooja Bedi who has closely worked with the production house on another reality show is challenging Celina’s claims of mental torture, “That’s ridiculous! We keep hearing of her getting attacked, and mobbed and stalked!

Is it desirable or delusional? The truth is that Mr Anand of Endemol is in constant touch with celebrities for appearances on their shows.

He has sent many celebs including me champagne from the production house’s side. I don’t think that’s personal stalking at all.”

Pooja further defends Anand with, “I don’t want this to be projected as some sort of a tirade against Celina. But I do know Anand personally and he’s always been utterly respectful and professional.”

I don’t want to be called hot: Katrina

Katrina Kaif’s sizzling number ‘Sexy Lady’ in Race, followed by the announcement of an item song in the sporty film Blue, has given the lady a va-va-voom image.

She’s surprisingly uncomfortable with her sensuous image. “I want to retain the image of the girl nextdoor. I don’t want the hot image. Even in ‘Sexy Lady’ I’m fully clothed.I’m still the girl nextdoor. It’s not the conventionally sexy kind of song. “

Race where she’s pitched for the sensuous sweepstakes against Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy has Katrina pulling out all the stops to erase the homely wholesome image.

The lady demurs. “I don’t think so. Everything in Race looks larger-than-life very fulsome urgent and exaggerated. The actors are styled accordingly. I haven’t done anything like it. Everyone’s talking about it. I guess that’s a good sign.”

Katrina is equally reluctant to accept she’s doing the most expensive item song ever in Tony’s Blue.

“I wouldn’t know about how expensive it is. But I’m doing a special appearance in Blue and the song-dance is part of it.Yeah I’m part of the film in a unique way.

Akshay Kumar got me into it. As for the expenses, nowadays so many numbers are thrown into the public’s face. I don’t think it’s right for actors to talk about the financial side of a film.”

Next, ask her about the status of her relationship with Salman Khan and she clams up. “I’d like to keep that personal.”

Is it right to presume she’s still with Mr Khan? “You can presume whatever you like. You can presume I’m an alien from outerspace, if you like. Right now I’m in a very happy place.

Even rumours of us actresses fighting for space in Race is way off the mark. I’ve my own place in Race. My confidence-level has grown in recent times, and yes, it’s partly because of the hits that I’ve had.”

After a number of films where her voice was dubbed Katrina finally used her own voice in Namaste London. And now she says she has dubbed for Race.

“I’ve been working very hard on my diction. I try to speak in Hindi in my daily dealings.”

After being with Salman who patented the name Prem in a series of films, Katrina seems stuck with another Prem, Ranbir Kapoor, who’s her co-star in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

“I guess they’re worth being stuck with.” She replies tongue-in-cheek. “I just love the script, my character and Ranbir’s role. He’s so much into his work. I’m also getting there. For me acting is no longer a hobby.”

I may not be Ash but I’ve honor too

The enire Endemol-Celina Jaitley row has now taken an ugly turn. We hear that the former Miss India is fuming over Pooja Bedi’s remarks in which the latter defended Endemol employee’s Anand Chavan.

“I have admired Pooja Bedi since I was in Standard 1. I don’t know why Pooja should have spoken on this, when she is no way involved with Fear Factor. Anyway, let her have her fifteen seconds of fame,” remarks Celina.

The actress has also sent a legal notice to Endemol saying that she has enough material to prove that the theirl employee was indeed stalking her.

Talking to a leading tabloid Celina tells, “Anand Chavan, has been constantly harassing me to do the show. He sent me flowers and champagne bottles. Also, he sent me several text messages. He even messaged me saying that he is interested in working with me as my ‘business manager’.”

“I am being mentally harassed. My name has been used to sell a product without my consent. I may not be Ash or Kareena but I am Celina Jaitley, nothing less or more. I have the right to defend my name.

In my notice, I have also demanded that hereafter no employee of Endemol will call and harass me. Endemol is a fine company, but it needs to keep its employees in check,” she adds.

Now this is Two much Aishwarya!!!

Just when we thought Shankar’s Robot was all set to go on floors came a bad news that Ash might eventually pull out of the ambitious project given the director’s plans to shoot the film over a period of two years.

That apparently is not acceptable to Ash who cannot afford to give so much of time to a project.

There are also news doing rounds about Deepika Padukone’s inclusion into this sci-fi Rajni starrer.

Shankar and Rajnikant are very fond of Ash, who made her acting debut in Shankar’s film ‘Jeans’. Since then, the director has approached Ash for every single film he has made except ‘Boys’, but every time Ash has turned him down for one reason or another.

It remains to be seen if she has turned him down again for ‘Robot’.

We hear, the actress has already asked Rohan Sippy to start his film Happy Birthday which stars John Abraham besides her due to delays in Robot.

However some insiders maintain that Robot is getting delayed due to security reasons and not Aishwarya refusal.

The major hurdle in rolling the project, which will be shot at different locales in India and overseas, is that the areas have to be scanned from the security point of view. Both Rajnikanth and Ash come under a high protection security network.

Post wedding, Ash’s security has beenoverhauled. All her shoot locales are now thoroughly scanned by the producers and rest of the crew.

Reportedly, Aishwarya was promised Rs 4 crore for Robot which is slated to be a bilingual venture – both in Hindi and Tamil.
